HI! My name is Chelsie. I am a wife and a mom to three beautiful children and three wild furbabies. I have an almost five-year-old named Sabina, a two-year-old named Jacquelyn and a six month old named Wyatt. My oldest furbaby is my seven-year-old calico cat named Addie. Major is my almost six-year-old German Shepherd and Nymeria is my two-year-old Akita. My husband is Danny and we have married for six and a half years. I was born and raised in a small town in Wyoming. I met Danny in Wyoming before he enlisted into the United States Air Force. That life changing event moved us to Washington state where we lived for six years. We now are living abroad in Ge and many for a four-year tour! Before moving to Germany, I worked as a banker and raised our children. I loved my career where I made some amazing friends and met some inspirational leaders. But, I struggled with the mom guilt. I had a deep desire to be a stay at home mom. After moving to Germany I was able to be a stay at home mom! It has been a wonderful experience and I know my family really enjoys having me home. There are many benefits to being home raising my babies and I really do feel blessed to be able to finally do that. Although, this dream does come with its challenges. It can be lonely or isolating especially, when you have young children. It can also be very easy to lose yourself or your identity and it can be challenging to make friends. After thinking long and hard about these struggles, I decided to volunteer with my husband’s squadron. That allowed me to get out of the house and make some friends. I still continued to battle with finding myself I started journaling. Many random scribbles and thoughts later, I decided to share my journey and thoughts with all of you! Welcome to my beautiful disaster of a life where I will share my experiences, dreams, laughter, frustrations, heartbreaks and love. -Until next time! XOXO Chelsie
